Annual OSEB Networking Event: November 15th at IDEAHUB!

The Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation cordially invites you join to us on November 15th, 2011 at Port Hope’s IDEAHUB, for our annual Ontario Self-Employment Benefit (OSEB) Networking Event. Doors open at 4 and close around 7pm so please stop by at your leisure!

Following last year’s successful launch with Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce, this fall we are delighted to be partnering with the Port Hope & District Chamber of Commerce to provide new connectivity and exciting networking opportunities for OSEB participants from both Peterborough and Northumberland (see attached invitation and please circulate widely).

Information for OSEB Participants

As a successful OSEB Participant you are invited to promote your business at our Mini Trade Show and Business Card Exchange, in partnership with the Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce.

The location for this event is the IDEAHUB in Port Hope, Ontario. It is a small business incubator that serves Port Hope and Northumberland County. More information on the location can be found on-line at www.myideahub.ca.

Tables provided for displays will be skirted so items can be stored underneath; tables are 6 ft in length. If you require electricity for your display, please notify us in advance, and bring any extension cords you require. If you are not interested in a booth but are attending with business cards/pamphlets only, there will be a table designated for you to display these. However, everyone should keep cards with them to distribute while networking.

The event will take place between 4 and 7 pm, and set-up is between 2 and 4pm on November 15th, 2011. Please bring your promotional materials/product line/ samples/business cards etc. and plan on the possibility of making sales during this event. For all OSEB businesses, this is a chance to network with Chamber members, other businesses and the public.
