Former Vice President of Staubach Canada (now Jones Lang LaSalle), Kim Mullin is the Northumberland CFDC’s Business Plan Instructor for the Ontario Self-Employment Benefit (OSEB) program. She currently leads a 4-week business planning seminar at the Northumberland CFDC Learning Centre located in the Cobourg office. Kim comes from a high-powered commercial real-estate background, bringing real private sector experience and insight to OSEB participants. Kim is a business owner herself, and an innovator who thinks outside the box. In the course of her career, Kim has developed presentations for major corporate accounts such as ING Insurance and the Business Development Bank of Canada. Past clients include the International Civil Aviation Organization, the Toronto Dominion Bank and Unisource Canada. Fluently bilingual and an enthusiastic advocate for community development (Cobourg Community Centre Committee – Fundraising and Communications, elementary school literacy and mathematics volunteer), Kim is passionate about encouraging consumers to buy Canadian, creating local employment opportunities and improving the quality of educational programs for young people.
