Laura G. McCracken - Business Plan Instructor
Stepping in as the new business plan instructor in the Cobourg office will be Laura McCracken. With a Bachelor of Education and a B.A. from Queens University, Laura is an accredited teacher and former Secondary School instructor with Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. In addition, Laura has over 20 years of experience in community work both locally and provincially.
Her responsibilities across a number of Boards and initiatives have exposed her to issues of business management, policy and control in her fiduciary roles across a diverse set of organizations including the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Women in Crisis (now Northumberland Services for Women), Cobourg and District Library Foundation and Habitat for Humanity-Women Build.
Her extensive community work is award winning both locally and provincially and she has represented the Town of Cobourg traveling internationally to establish a twinning with the Central African town of Mzuzu, Malawi.
