Equi-Pass

Thanks to a new partnership between Durham College Community Employment Resource Services and the Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (NCFDC) Northumberland residents now have a new way to gain valuable skills or upgrade their existing skills.

The Equi-pass program is an affordable and easily accessible online learning platform offering a wide range of courseware titles, including digital literacy, Microsoft OfficeTM and soft skills. This cutting-edge learning membership program focuses on maximizing learner engagement, driving success rates and providing many of the tools needed for today’s world of work. The cost for a full year membership, and access to over 150 courses is only $25. The program is very flexible and people are able to take these courses at their own pace. and the Learning Portal lets you work from home, office – virtually anywhere that there is access to a computer and internet connection. This program works for all user levels – you do not need any previous computer skills for many of the courses. There is something for everyone and the courses help equip participants with the tools and resources to achieve success.
